Emergency services cadet program

You need a blue card if you are:

• an adult member of an emergency services cadet program, and
• your role includes teaching, coaching or tutoring children.

This applies to cadet programs run by the department responsible for emergency services. This includes the Queensland Emergency Services Cadet program.

When you need a blue card

You need a blue card if you:

• teach cadets as part of the program
• coach or mentor cadets during training
• provide practical or classroom training
• supervise cadets during emergency services training.
