Emergency services cadet program

You need a blue card if you are an adult member of an emergency services cadet program and your role includes teaching, coaching or tutoring children.

This applies to cadet programs managed by the department responsible for emergency services, including the Queensland Emergency Services Cadet program.

Examples

A blue card is needed if you:

• teach cadets as part of an emergency services cadet program
• coach or mentor cadets during training activities
• deliver practical or classroom-based instruction to cadets
• supervise cadets while providing emergency services training.
