Understanding your 2026 land valuation

On 11 March 2026, the Valuer-General issued new land valuations to 15 local government areas (LGAs) in Queensland. This equates to more than 560,000 valuations, spanning more than 285,000 square kilometres.

These land valuations reflect property market changes since each of the LGAs were last valued.

The date of valuation is 1 October 2025 and the valuations are in effect from 30 June 2026.
