Explanatory notes
- The main residential towns in the Burdekin Shire LGA are Ayr and Home Hill. The residential market within the Burdekin Shire LGA has generally experienced minor to moderate movement since the last revaluation being reflected in Ayr and Home Hill respectively.
- Since the last revaluation issued there continues to be a solid demand for residential housing, underpinned by population growth, and perceived affordability in comparison to other provincial cities and capitals.
- The investor market is still buoyant with near record residential rental vacancy rates.

Explanatory notes
- Commercial land values have been relatively stable with an overall minor increase, however moderate increases in value have been experienced in Home Hill, albeit coming from a low value threshold.
- Industrial land recorded an overall minor increase in value, reflecting limited availability of industrial land and demand for larger industrial land lots.
- Primary production land recorded moderate to significant increases in value for both arable and grazing lands.
- Sugar prices reached a peak in September 2023 and have eroded since that time, however there is still an optimistic outlook for the sugar industry and primary production values.
- Multi-unit residential land recorded minor increases in value, reflecting a similar trend to parts of the residential markets within Burdekin Shire LGA.
