Disaster recovery replacement certificates
If your certificates have been lost, damaged or destroyed in a declared Queensland disaster area, you can apply to have them replaced if you:
- live in the affected area and have been impacted
- have had the certificate before.
If you have had certificates from another Australian state or territory which have been lost or damaged in a Queensland declared disaster area, they may also be replaced through this application process with us. This only applies for certificates needing to be replaced due to a disaster which has occurred in Queensland, it does not apply for a normal certificate application.
If your application is approved, we will send your replacement certificates for free. If your certificates are from another Australian state or territory, we will send your application on to the relevant interstate registry office. They will process your application and, if applicable, provide you with your replacement certificate.
