Change your school-based apprenticeship or traineeship

If you need to make any changes to your school-based apprenticeship or traineeship, you'll need to change your training contract.

Changes may include:

• changing personal details (name, address, etc)
• changing to part-time or full-time
• changing school
• moving interstate
• changing employer
• changing training organisation
• pausing (suspending) the training contract
• cancelling the training contract.

When you change your training contract, you must always inform:

• your Australian Apprenticeship Support Network (AASN) provider
• and
• us, the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training, via Apprenticeships Info.
