The Queensland COVID Vaccine Plan outlines a staged approach for easing travel-based restrictions once Queensland reaches high vaccination rates.

From 20 October 2021, the South Island of New Zealand is a Queensland safe travel zone country.  Travel remains restricted from the North Island and any locations identified by the New Zealand Ministry of Health website as areas of interest.

From 1am AEST Tuesday 19 October 2021, Tasmania will no longer have any declared COVID-19 hotspots.

Queensland has current contact tracing alerts and related public health advice for people who have been in Queensland, the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria and New Zealand.
