Regional community support services

During and after a disaster you may need practical assistance or community support to assist you and your family. Our regional community support services brochures provide information and contact details for key community services available in your area.

Disaster dashboards in Queensland

Your local council may provide a disaster dashboard to assist you with up-to-date information during events in your area, including evacuation centre openings and locations, river heights, road conditions and closures, power and phone outages.

Self Recovery App

Access to vital information about Queensland disasters and emergencies is available through the Self Recovery App.

Resilient Homes Fund

If your home has been damaged by flooding in 2021–22, you can register your interest in funding for retrofitting, house raising or the voluntary buy-back of homes at high risk from future floods. Funding is considered on a case-by-case basis.
