Renew or restore your introduction agent licence
Processing times
We are receiving an increased number of applications, which may impact the stated processing time frame of 6 weeks.
To ensure your application is processed as soon as possible, make sure you lodge a complete application including payment of any licence, application or criminal history check fees. Further delays will occur if we need to seek more information from you.
Renewing
An introduction agent's licence is valid for either 1, 2 or 3 years, whichever you choose.
We will send you a renewal notice about 4 weeks before your licence expires. Make sure you tell us if you change your postal address.
Please contact us if you:
- need another copy of the form
- haven’t received the form at your current address.
You must:
- lodge your renewal form before the expiry date
- pay a renewal fee
- pay a criminal history check fee for each person listed on your application.
Continuing to work
You need to make sure that we receive your completed renewal form before your current licence expires.
You can keep working while we process your renewal.
Restoring
If your licence expires, you may restore it within 3 months of the expiry date.
To restore it:
- send us the renewal form
- pay the restoring fee
- pay a criminal history check fee for each person listed on your application.
Please contact us if you need another copy of your renewal form.
You cannot work on an expired licence. You must wait until your licence is restored.
