Living in rural and remote areas
Many Queensland state school students live in rural and remote areas. We provide financial assistance and extra services so these students aren't disadvantaged by their geographic location.
Schools of Distance Education
Schools of Distance Education deliver programs to students who can’t attend a state school. Distance education also provides extension programs for students in secondary schools.
Home-based learners who choose not to attend a local school can also attend a School of Distance Education (for an annual fee).
