Make a disclosure—real property
Disclosure of beneficial interest to seller
Real property auctioneers with a beneficial interest in the sale must give the seller a completed Disclosure of beneficial interest form (Form 7).
This is a requirement of the Property Occupations Act 2014.

Disclosure of interest to potential buyer
Real property auctioneers must show a potential buyer the Disclosure to potential buyer form (Form 8) to disclose their interests, including:
- a relationship with any third party you've referred the buyer to
- any commission you get from or pay to that third party
- your interests in the property (if you're a property developer).
Penalties apply if you fail to disclose your interest.
This is a requirement of the Property Occupations Act 2014.
