Appoint a chattel auctioneer
You can't apply online.
Fill out the Appointment of a motor dealer or chattel auctioneer form (Form 9) to appoint (or re-appoint) a chattel auctioneer.
A completed and signed copy of this form must be given to the client before the chattel auctioneer sells the client's goods.
This is a requirement of the Motor Dealers and Chattel Auctioneers Act 2014.

Appoint a residential or commercial auctioneer
You can't apply online.
To appoint (or re-appoint) an auctioneer (real property), fill out 1 of these forms:
- Residential auctioneer appointment or reappointment (Form 6)
- Commercial auctioneer appointment or reappointment (Form 6A).
A completed form must be given to the client before you perform any auctioneering services for them.
This is a requirement of the Property Occupations Act 2014.
