  • Not now, not ever. Together. This will open (www.csyw.qld.gov.au) Take the pledge to work together to put an end to domestic and family violence.
  • Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month Each May, we raise community awareness of domestic and family violence and send a clear message that violence of this sort will not be tolerated.
  • DVConnect This will open (www.dvconnect.org) DVConnect is a 24-hour statewide domestic violence hotline that offers free, professional assistance such as counselling, intervention, transport and emergency accommodation for people in danger from a violent partner or family member.
  • Community Action for a Multicultural Society (CAMS) program This will open (www.des.qld.gov.au) This program funds community-based organisations so people from culturally diverse backgrounds can achieve their ambitions for social and economic participation.   • Domestic and family violence resources These resources provide information and contact details about where to get help for victims of domestic and family violence, as well as information for family and friends who suspect someone they know is being abused. There is also information for people who use violence or abuse about how to get help.
  • Immigrant Women's Support Service (IWSS) This will open (www.iwss.org.au) IWSS offers free confidential, practical and emotional support to immigrant and refugee women from non-English speaking backgrounds and their children who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence.
