Works for Queensland building community infrastructure
Importantly, these projects have created or supported more than 14,200 jobs in rural and remote council areas, which is a fantastic result for local businesses, local tradies and local families.
Across the state, $800 million has been allocated to councils outside the South East to help deliver 2199 projects, creating or supporting an incredible 25,281 jobs.
There is plenty more to come, with a further $200 million in Works for Queensland funding committed for 2024–27.
