Type 1 CPD sessions

You can choose to complete:

• a Type 1 continuing professional development (CPD) session and a Type 2 session

or

• 2 of the Type 1 sessions.

Type 1 sessions are condensed versions of units in the national property services training package. They're designed to help real estate professionals build their knowledge and stay up to date with industry standards.

Only the listed approved CPD sessions will count towards your requirements. Any sessions completed from other states or territories, even if approved there, won’t be accepted.

To ensure sessions are approved in Queensland, look for session codes beginning with ‘QLDCPD20’ or check out other ways to complete a Type 1 session.

Other ways to complete CPD

You can enrol with a registered training organisation to complete a fully accredited unit from 1 of the following qualifications under the national property services training package:

• CPP40521 Certificate IV in Strata Community Management
• CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice
• CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management).

Note: While these accredited units don't begin with the session code ‘QLDCPD20’ like other CPD approved sessions, they're fully compliant and meet the ‘Type 1’ CPD requirements in Queensland.
