Update your blue card details
If you have applied for, or hold, a blue card or exemption card, you must tell us within 7 days if your details change.

Update your details online
Online applicant portal
The fastest way to update your details is through the online applicant portal.
You can update your:
- email address
- phone number
- home address
- post address
- name.
If you change your name, you can also request a replacement card.
Log in to the online applicant portal to update your details.
Without the portal
If you cannot use the online applicant portal, complete this online form to update your:
- email address
- phone number
- home address
- postal address.
If you have changed your name, complete the change of name form instead.
The Department of Justice (DoJ) collects your personal information when you update your blue card details.
We collect your:
- first, middle and family name
- date and place of birth
- email address and phone numbers
- residential and postal address
- blue card number and customer reference number
- details of the changes you want to make
- declarations confirming the information provided is correct.
We use this information to:
- update your personal and contact details
- confirm your identity
- maintain accurate blue card records.
We will only use or share your personal information if Australian law, or a court or tribunal order, allows or requires us to.
