Travel2School App
The Travel2School App is part of a new ticketing and tracking solution for school bus services which will be trialled across rural and regional Queensland.
About the Travel2School App
Known as Queensland School Ticketing, the Travel2School App lets you manage smartcards that are required for eligible School Transport Assistance Scheme passengers travelling on school buses.
Parents and carers can use this app for:
- setting up a Travel2School App account and manage smartcard account/s
- monitoring bus services with live tracking
- bookmarking your school bus route to receive updates about the bus's running time
- enabling notifications from the app to receive updates about the use of the smartcard
- enabling push notifications from operators, a communication tool for emergencies
- managing smart accounts with auto-top up of funds.
Downloading the Travel2School App
The Travel2School App is only available for iOS or Android. There are currently no plans to make the app available for other devices or operating systems.
The Travel2School App is available for download at any time on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
When to use the Travel2School App
Your school bus service provider will inform you when their service is being onboarded to the Queensland School Ticketing solution.
