Restorative justice mediation training

Restorative justice mediation is a 3-day course that helps you improve your skills for bringing together the people most affected by a criminal offence to discuss its impact and how to restore the relationship.

You will learn the necessary theory, skills and processes to become an intake officer.

The course is a great foundation if you are just starting out in this kind of role or want to develop your ability to help restore connections within the community.

If you are already an intake or support officer, this course will build on your existing experience.

• Day 1—concept, principles, purpose, values, benefits, referrals.
• Day 2—theoretical frameworks, stages of the process, and behavioral analysis.
• Day 3—legislation and ethical practices.
