This grant supports people directly impacted by a disaster to meet their immediate needs where they have experienced loss of 1 or more essential services for more than 5 days.

Essential household contents grant

Financial assistance is available to help people in activated disaster areas who are uninsured or unable to claim insurance to replace essential household contents.

Structural assistance grant

Financial assistance is available for people in activated disaster areas to help repair their homes and make them secure and safe to live in.

Essential services safety and reconnection scheme

Financial assistance for people in activated disaster areas to help reconnect essential services such as electricity, gas, water and/or sewerage/septic systems.

Transport and motoring assistance

Support for individuals and industry in activated disaster areas providing vehicle registration concessions and licensing assistance.

Flood resilience for homes across Queensland (Stronger Homes Grant)

Supporting homeowners impacted by eligible disaster weather events.

Household Resilience Program

Funding to help eligible homeowners in coastal parts of Queensland improve the resilience of their homes against cyclones.
