Students' Anzac Commemoration Ceremony

Tuesday 23 April 2024, 10am – 11am, Shrine of Remembrance, Anzac Square, Ann Street, Brisbane.

The Students’ Anzac Commemoration Ceremony is an annual event that enables school students in South-East Queensland to honour those who have served our country.

With an anticipated attendance of more than 3000 students, the ceremony brings together prominent figures, military leaders and community representatives.

Open to all schools in South-East Queensland, free transport to and from the event is provided by Translink on the Queensland Rail City Rail Network.

In addition to the ceremony, Anzac Square Memorial & Galleries, beneath the Shrine of Remembrance, offers 15-minute guided tours between 11am and 1pm for students and teachers, with tours departing every 5 minutes, providing an opportunity for further education and reflection.
