Elite athlete pathways

The Athlete Career and Education Program (ACE) offers eligible athletes career, education and personal development support.
The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) supports elite athlete development through 12 squad programs.
- A scholarship is another way to get support if your sport is not covered by a QAS squad program.
Your state sporting organisation may offer athlete development programs.

Retiring from sport?

If you were an elite athlete, you can continue to serve the sporting community through a leadership role at an industry body or sporting association.
