Report a cycling incident

Cyclists can report a cycling incident online or to Policelink if no one was hurt and no property was damaged, otherwise the matter must be reported to your local police station in person.

You should phone Triple Zero (000) if a person is hurt, in danger or a life is threatened.

Report it online

Use the cyclist online complaint form to report a cycling incident online only if you:

  • have a current email address
  • saw the incident.

You will be asked for details of the event and a description of the driver and the vehicle. You can also upload any photos if you have them.

Report it by phone or in person

Call Policelink on 131 444 or contact your local police station if you cannot report it online.

Drivers who break road safety laws could lose their licence and their vehicle.
