Withdraw a police report

Use this online form if you reported a property offence but no longer want police to do anything about it.

Property offences include:

• break and enter
• stealing
• graffiti
• lost property.

Conditions for withdrawing online

To withdraw a complaint online you must:

• be the victim or the person who told police about the offence
• be 18 or over
• have a current email address.

You must have a Queensland Police reference number to use the online form. The number would have been given to you when you made the complaint:

• to police who attended
• at a police station
• by phone
• online.

You cannot withdraw a report if it is being heard by the courts.
