Stomach cancer

The stomach is a muscular organ that forms part of your digestive system. Food travels down the oesophagus and into the stomach to be mixed with acids and enzymes. Stomach cancer is one of the most common cancers however, the number of people with stomach cancer is falling in Australia. Stomach cancer is rare in people under 50 years of age and affects more men than women.
