Ovarian cancer

Ovarian cancer is a malignant tumour in one or both ovaries. The incidence of ovarian cancer increases with age, but it can affect women of all ages, including teenagers. There are four main types of ovarian cancer, named after the part of the ovary that is affected. Treatment depends on the type of ovarian cancer but usually involves surgery and chemotherapy. Treatment may include radiotherapy.
