Description: The project is phase one of a plan to restore and maintain a significant Aboriginal rock carving site in Lockyer Valley, known as Challawong Rock. The site is increasingly threatened by erosion, structural instability, vandalism and fire from surrounding lantana. The Corporation is working with local stakeholders to develop a comprehensive conservation plan to ensure the sustainability of the significant cultural heritage for future generations.
