The Department of Environment, Science, and Innovation regulates a number of environmental activities within the Swanbank and New Chum industrial area. These businesses must hold an environmental authority to operate.
The map below shows the main licenced sites within the Swanbank and New Chum industrial areas. The list below this, identifies just those sites that relate to waste management and their relevant licence details.
You can search the Public Register Portal using the individual licence numbers to see the environmental authority and relevant conditions that each operator must comply with.
You can also view compliance actions using the holders name in the ‘issued to’ field or alternatively using the postcode of the activity.
