The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) provides timely and quality emergency and  non-emergency services to meet the needs of the community through a network of 302 ambulance response locations across the state.

QAS supports the needs of the community by providing  pre-hospital ambulance response services, emergency and routine pre-hospital  patient care and transport services, coordination of aero medical services,  inter-facility ambulance transport, planning and coordination of multi-casualty  incidents and disasters and casualty room services.
