Privacy notice

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is collecting your personal information including your contact details and information about your ambulance treatment so we can respond to your compliment, complaint or feedback.

Personal and confidential information collected by the QAS is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and the Ambulance Service Act 1991.

If required by law, the personal information provided by you may be disclosed to the Crime and Corruption Commission (CCC), and government agencies associated with regulation of health service delivery such as the Office of the Health Ombudsman, The Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and the Paramedicine Board of Australia. Your personal information will not be disclosed to other third parties without consent, unless the disclosure is authorised or required by or under law. If you do not provide the information being sought, the QAS will be unable to fully consider and respond to your compliment, complaint or feedback.
