Please note that the AED location details will only notify the EMD if the suspected cardiac arrest occurs at your business or property. It will not generate an alert to the EMD for calls from nearby businesses or properties.

Responsibility for the maintenance, working condition and availability of the AED at the location indicated remains with the business or property registering the AED.

Privacy notice

The Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) is collecting your personal information to allow the Emergency Medical Dispatcher (EMD) to direct someone, who has called Triple Zero (000) for a suspected cardiac arrest at your business or property, to retrieve and use your AED. We collect your contact information to allow us to contact you periodically to keep the AED register up to date.

Personal information collected by the QAS is handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009.

Your personal information will not be disclosed to other third parties without consent, unless the disclosure is authorised or required by or under law. If you do not provide the information being sought, the QAS will be unable to maintain a record of your AED for use, should it be required.
