TAFE Queensland short courses

TAFE Queensland provides short courses for both personal and professional development.

Courses can be completed at one of the institutes throughout the state or you can choose online or distance learning.

Many other registered training organisations (RTOs) apart from TAFE Queensland offer short courses.

Visit the My Skills website to find an RTO in your local area.

University short courses

Short courses delivered by Queensland universities focus on professional development. Some universities also allow you to enrol in a single unit or course rather than completing a full degree.

Australian Catholic University (ACU)

ACU offer short training courses including executive education programs and a program for nurse immunisers. You can also complete individual units of degrees.

Bond University

Explore executive courses such as dispute resolution and executive education.

Central Queensland University (CQ University)

The Queensland Centre for Professional Development is a business centre of CQ University.

Griffith University

Read about studying single courses or Continuing Education certificates.

James Cook University

Read about short courses and certificate courses that provide academic credit. Short courses and master classes that do not provide academic credit are also available in areas such as mining and agriculture.

Queensland University of Technology (QUT)

QUT offers short courses and professional development in areas including:
