Short courses

  • VET and university short courses

Look for vocational education and training (VET) and university short courses offered throughout Queensland. Some universities will also allow you to enrol in a single unit of a degree.

  • Computer courses

Whether you want to complete a course for beginners or something more advanced, we’ll show how to find a course that will suit your needs.

  • Language and literacy classes

Find classes that will help you improve your language, literacy and numeracy skills. There is also a program for employers to help their workers.

Community education

Adult Community Education (ACE) short courses are open to people over 15 years of age.

Course duration is generally 2–3 hours per week (over 6–8 weeks) or full day Saturday workshops.

ACE short courses are for both personal and professional development.

Find an ACE short course provider and see what courses they offer.
