Putting Queensland Kids First Partnership Fund

Putting Queensland Kids First: Giving our kids the opportunity of a lifetime builds on the strengths and opportunities that help children and families to thrive. Putting Queensland Kids First recognises the ecosystem of supports that help families raise their children, including communities, kin, and non-government service providers including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations.

We know we make the biggest impact when families, communities, government agencies, and service providers work together with a shared vision. Putting Queensland Kids First was shaped through extensive consultation with our vibrant community service sector. We heard the importance of delivering meaningful supports to respond to community and family needs.

Putting Queensland Kids First delivers on this with a dedicated $15 million Putting Queensland Kids First Partnership Fund that will invest in community-led, place-based solutions delivered by non-government organisations (NGOs) including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community-controlled organisations.

Round 1 of the Putting Queensland Kids First Partnership Fund is now closed.

Round 1 provides the opportunity of funding from $500,000 up to $1.5 million from a total pool of $5 million.
