Queensland Day in the Bulloo

A weekend festival with unique activities and events quintessential to the Bulloo Shire, including bush poetry, shearing and whip cracking demonstrations, motorbike versus horse races, markets, live entertainment and more.
Celebrating Queensland - Strait Celebrate - The Mabo Decision and its impact on Torres Strait Island people

Mabo Day celebrations will vary across communities to include concerts, dancing, choirs, marches and food stalls. A particular emphasis will be placed on how the iconic Queensland Mabo team changed Australia for the betterment of Indigenous Australians and all Australians.
Cunnamulla #QLD Day Challenge and Family Fun Day

A family fun day embracing the diverse and rural community. Highlights include sporting events with the amazing race fitness challenge, markets, competitions, barbecue and awards ceremony.
2018 Queensland Day Fun and Fitness Expo

Where: Hutchings Lagoon, Ayr
When: Sunday 3 June 2018, 10am–2pm
A family day with activities, rides, local produce and ski demonstrations. Outdoor sporting events will involve tube and boat rides by the Lower Burdekin Ski Club. Entertainment by local and regional performers with special guest speakers.
Beef to Beach 2018

A free family fun afternoon for everyone to enjoy and celebrate what’s great about Queensland. The event aims to bring together people of all ages, ethnicities and cultures.
A showcase of Queensland-themed community celebrations including animal farm, market stalls, local produce, outdoor activities, a variety of musical entertainment and beef barbecue.
Logan Celebrates Queensland Day

Logan Celebrates Queensland Day brings together the many cultures that make up the vibrant city of Logan to celebrate everything that is Queensland through a wide range of sports, free activities, food and more. With thong throwing competitions, face painting, a jumping castle and cake, families will be sure to enjoy the Queensland Day celebrations.

A community fun day looking back at Queensland and Boulia’s history through the use of displays. The day will feature historical costuming, live music, bush poetry, markets, topped off with camel wagon rides.

An event to celebrate the past and build on the future with heritage displays and volunteers dressed in costume. Twilight markets will showcase local businesses with free entertainment from local artists and a ceremony to celebrate Queensland Day.
Sapphires Shine for Queensland Day 2018

Where: Miners Common Museum grounds, Rubyvale
When: Saturday 9 June 2018
Free community celebration of the state gem including competitions, workshops, wheelbarrow races, entertainment and local produce. Artisan markets will showcase locally mined, facetted, set or sculpted sapphires unique to the region.
QLDay

A celebration of the community’s diverse cultures and heritage including Queensland Day Awards, free children rides, entertainment and raffle draw, with all proceeds going to Orange Sky Australia.
