Homeless Hotline is a phone information and referral service for people who are experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

Can they help me?

Homeless Hotline helps:

  • single people aged over 16
  • mothers with children
  • fathers with children
  • families
  • couples
  • those experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness.

How does the service work?

When you call, we will provide information about where you can find support, accommodation, meals or showers.

In some cases you may be referred to other services to help you further.

What personal information will they need?

We will only collect personal information that is relevant to your situation. To provide you with the right information, they will need to ask for your:

  • name
  • date of birth
  • gender
  • location.

More information will be required to arrange a referral or an interview with a service.


All personal information collected is confidential and will only be disclosed with your consent (or if the law requires it).

Calls to Homeless Hotline are free (calls from mobiles are charged at applicable rates). The service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
