Each year, the Queensland Training Awards recognise Queensland's best apprentices, trainees, employers and training providers. State winners are eligible to nominate for national honours at the Australian Training Awards.

Scholarships
Queensland Overseas Foundation scholarship
Applications for the 2013 Queensland Overseas Foundation Scholarship are now open.
The scholarship gives recipients funding of up to $7,000 to live overseas and work in their chosen trade for up to 2 years with the goal of bringing the best global practices back to Queensland.
To be eligible, you must be a Queensland resident aged 18-30 years, have gained relevant work experience and completed 1 of the following qualifications in the past 4 years:
- an apprenticeship or traineeship (Certificate III or above)
- a vocational Certificate IV or above.
