From 1 July 2025, we introduced funded training programs that better align with your career stage—Career Start (for job seekers) and Career Boost (for workers).
If you started your training course under one of our previously funded programs—Certificate 3 Guarantee, Higher Level Skills or User Choice (for apprentices and trainees)—we have you covered. These programs will be phased out gradually, allowing you to complete your qualification or skill set. Read more about how these changes may impact you.
Only training providers that meet certain standards can deliver free and reduced-cost training in Queensland. Look out for the Skills Assure identifier.Use the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS National) for information in languages other than English.
