Course accreditation
All Queensland course accreditation functions are now managed by the Australian Skills Quality Authority.
Email accreditation@asqa.gov.au if you have any questions about accreditation.
Training resources
The Centre for Training Materials:
- sells training materials (accredited courses and training resources)
- offers training resource developers a service to sell and distribute their resources
- licenses training materials
- provides free downloadable Queensland transition guides to support the delivery of national training packages.
DETConnect
DETConnect gives industry partners secure access to departmental services and information through a single login.
This allows industry partners to receive current and relevant information by providing real time interaction with a number of departmental business systems.
Business systems include:
- Apprenticeships Info Self Service—gives Australian Apprenticeship Centres, group training organisations and registered training organisations a quick and effective way to get credit for previous service and to check that an apprentice or trainee has no previous outstanding contracts.
- AVETMISS Training Activity—a consistent and effective way for training organisations to lodge Australian Vocational Education and Training Management Information Statistical Standard (AVETMISS) returns.
- Training Downloads—provides daily updates from a number of departmental databases. A snapshot report provides the available records (for example the active training contracts), and a changes report provides details about the changes made to the records.
