Through My Lens is a regional youth photography challenge, to be launched during Youth Week 2026. Open to young people aged 12–25 across the Fraser Coast region, the competition will encourage participants to capture the theme “Life Where I Live”. There is no defined genre, though entrants may like to consider Landscapes, Activities or Hobbies, or Interesting Characters (people and pets) within their community. First place, and runner up in each group will receive Fraser Coast Buy Local Gift Vouchers, and the overall winning image will also be featured on the cover of Island View Connects e-magazine. The top 5 entries from each age group will be determined by a local arts and culture committee and posted on Fraser Coast Regional Council's Facebook page on 20/4/2026, for voting via People's Choice. Voting will close on 23/4/2026 and the winners announced on 24/4/2026.
