Food Safety Program
Food businesses that sell food to vulnerable people (e.g. hospitals, aged care facilities) must have a food safety program. However, any food business may voluntarily implement one. To create a tailored food safety program, complete the below template.
Completing the template should only take a few of minutes. Once you have entered your business information, you can generate a customisable Word document. In the document you can add your logo and branding, additional food business activities and records to suit your specific operations.
After completing your food safety program, consult your local government about requirements for accreditation and assessment by an approved food safety auditor.
