Species Technical Committee Assessment Report 23 August 2023

The Species Technical Committee (STC) met on 23 August 2023 to finalise assessments for 25 Queensland species. The STC recommended that the Minister for the Environment and the Great Barrier Reef, Minister for Science and Minister for Multicultural Affairs change the following species’ conservation status under the Nature Conservation Act (1992).

In addition, there are five nomenclature changes to species names.
