Are you eligible?
Generally, only Australian citizens (and New Zealand citizens who have entered Australia on a valid passport), aged 13 years or older may be eligible to undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship in most occupations.
However, there are some restrictions that may apply to age, access to funding, and eligibility for apprenticeships and traineeships in general. Ensure you are eligible to participate in an apprenticeship or traineeship before commencing.
