Emergency and temporary accommodation

Accommodation services from ex-service organisations
Emergency, temporary and affordable accommodation services are available from ex-service organisations.
Affordable housing available in Queensland to eligible war widows.
Provided by the RSL, Angus House offers accommodation for veterans, current and ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force, and their dependants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Short-term accommodation is also available for those undergoing medical treatment or counselling or needing somewhere to convalesce after medical treatment.
Provided by the Vietnam Veterans Association of Australia (VVAA), Remembrance House is for all veterans and its purpose is to provide a restful and peaceful building and surrounds for short-term accommodation.
Provided by the RSL and located at Arundel on the Gold Coast, Nui Dat House offers accommodation for veterans, current and ex-service members of the Australian Defence Force, and their dependants who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Short-term accommodation is also available for those needing specialist medical treatment or counselling.
