You can't apply online.
Fill out the Application to appoint a substitute licensee (Form 11) to apply to:
- appoint a substitute licensee to work for more than 30 days
- extend the substitute licensee's appointment period.

Write to us at an OFT contact centre or by email to ilu@justice.qld.gov.au to request we:
- change or remove your licence conditions
- deactivate or reactivate your licence.
Include as much detail as possible, including your licence number.
Lodge a trust account audit report
Submit a trust account audit report online. It must be prepared by a qualified auditor.
No fees apply
Open, close or change the name of a trust account
You can't apply online.
Fill out the Notification of opening, closing or change of name of trust account (Form 5) to tell us if you:
- open a new account
- change your account details
- close your account.
This is a requirement of the Agents Financial Administration Act 2014.

Open a trust account as a collection agent
You can't apply online.
Fill out the Collection agent application for authority to open a trust account (Form 4) if you are a collection agent and wish to apply to open a trust account.
This is a requirement of the Agents Financial Administration Act 2014.

We'll post you a form 4 to 6 weeks before your licence expires—contact us if you need a new copy.

Apply online to replace a licence or request an extract (copy).
An extract will show:
- the name of each person who holds the licence
- their registered business name (if any) and place of business
- the status of their licence—current, expired, refused, cancelled or suspended
- their licence number and class.

You can't apply online.
Current interstate or New Zealand licence holders can fill out the Application for mutual recognition of occupational licence (Form 1) to apply for a Queensland licence.
This is a requirement of the Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 1992 and the Trans-Tasman Mutual Recognition (Queensland) Act 2003.
