Queensland Mental Health Week
Mental illness can affect anyone. About half of all Australians experience it in their lifetime, and about one in five experience a mental health issue in any one year.
Queensland Mental Health Week (9–17 October 2021) promotes the importance of mental health and wellbeing, to reduce associated stigma, and to celebrate the service of mental health workers. The theme for 2021 is again, Take Time—for Mental Health.
During Mental Health Week you can get involved, find events, and access resources and help for yourself and others. You can also take part in the #QMHWTakeTime Social Media Challenge and share what it looks or feels like when you 'take time' for things that boost your mental wellbeing.
