DFV Rent Assist Brokerage grants open!

Specialist Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) support services are encouraged to apply for a share in $2.55M currently available through the DFV Rent Assist Brokerage Grants Program.

The one-off funding is available under the National Partnership Agreement for Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence Responses 2021–27, with successful organisations able to receive up to $50,000.

Through this grant program, successful support services will receive funding to assist DFV victim-survivors with complex needs to secure and maintain housing.

The funding is to be used in a way that is responsive, flexible and tailored to clients’ needs.

In some cases the payment of rent, rent arrears, rental bonds, or water bills may be sufficient to meet a client’s immediate housing needs. Funds may also be used purchase white goods or pay to have damage repaired.

Successful applicants may be offered full or partial grant funding. The deadline to spend funding allocated will be June 2026, with reporting to be completed by July 2026.

Applications close 4pm Thursday 16 November 2023.
