About the region

Almost 314,000 people populate Queensland’s Darling Downs South West region which encompasses major rural centres such as Toowoomba, Dalby, Warwick, Roma, Goondiwindi and Charleville.

This region is a strong economic hub supported by agricultural and livestock industries in addition to tourism, renewable energy production and mining operations. Further supporting this economic vibrancy is a robust and innovative manufacturing sector.

Many beautiful landscapes and enchanting country towns pepper this part of Queensland, attracting holiday makers all year round.
