Lauren Dancer's story

Lauren Dancer has had a personal experience with disability, and after graduating from Griffith Law School at Griffith University, is continuing to follow her dreams. Lauren has been awarded a prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for 2012, and will study a Bachelor of Civil Law focusing on human rights at Oxford University. Australian Government assistance

The Department of Human Services offers support for young people with an illness or disability, as well as support if you are participating in study or training.

thedesk

thedesk aims to support Australian tertiary students to achieve mental and physical health and wellbeing. It offers modules, tools, quizzes and advice for students, and is funded by beyondblue, the national depression initiative.

Student Edge

Student Edge is a website set up by students for students. Information is available to help you with study, making career choices, budgeting and dealing with other issues. You can also get a free Student Edge Card and start receiving discounts.
