Applying for a Carer Business Discount Card
Carers make an important contribution to the lives of the people they care for and the communities in which they live.
The Queensland Government's Carer Business Discount Card recognises and supports carers by providing discounts on goods and services at participating businesses throughout Queensland.
Eligibility
To be eligible for a Carer Business Discount Card, you must:
- Be a resident of Queensland whose Queensland residential address is registered with Centrelink, AND
- Receive the Centrelink Carer Payment or Carer Allowance*.

How to apply
You can apply:
Online
Fill out the online Carer Business Discount Card application form.
By post
Print and complete the application form, then post it to the address listed on the form:
By phone
Call 13 QGOV (13 74 68) to complete your application over the phone.
Over the counter
Visit a QGAP office or Queensland Government Service Counter.
Proof of ID
You will need to provide one of the reference numbers below:
- your Centrelink customer reference number (CRN)
- your Department of Veterans' Affairs file number
