Queensland Government Agent Program

The Queensland Government, through Smart Service Queensland, is committed to ensuring all Queenslanders have equal access to information and services.

To achieve this, the Queensland Government Agent Program (QGAP) was established in 1992 to provide generic government information and services to all regions, including rural and remote communities.

QGAP's are a network of 'one-stop' government service shops located in rural and remote communities across the state.

At 78 offices around the state you can access a broad range of services from the one convenient location.

QGAP offices provide critical face to face contact points for customers in areas where access to services is limited, offering the same level of service and accessibility that is afforded to Queenslanders living in more densely populated areas.

QGAP offices and Agents aim to ensure their communities are well-informed and able to interact with Government. QGAP staff provide information, assistance and advice on all State Government, and some Federal Government, services.

The services provided by QGAP may vary, with some offices providing extended services. Please contact your local QGAP office for further information.
