Treatment services are available to help people recover from an addiction. The Queensland Government, non-government organisations and private organisations all provide services including assessment, counselling, treatment planning, residential treatment and referral.

Counselling services
OnTrack is a free online treatment program for risky alcohol use that helps you self manage your recovery through setting goals and using practical strategies.
Counselling Online lets you communicate online with a professional counsellor about any alcohol or drug related concern.
Cannabis Information and Helpline is an information and support service for cannabis users and their family and friends. Phone 1800 30 40 50.
Quitline offers support, encouragement and resources to help you quit smoking. Phone 13 QUIT (13 7848).

Gambling addiction
Gambling Helpline 1800 858 858 provides a free, confidential 24 hour telephone counselling and referral service for people concerned about their own, or someone else's, gambling. They can provide:
- counselling and support
- support groups
- self exclusion from gambling venues
- information
- referral to a range of other support services if required.
